Corrupt Department of Injustice Lets The Corrupt Lois Lerner Off The Hook

The Justice Department will not seek any charges against former IRS official Lois Lerner for her role in illegally targeting conservative non-profits groups.

Above the law

After blatantly targeting conservative non-profits groups, Lerner then destroyed all evidence including emails and later invoked the Fifth Amendment against self-incrimination during a House hearing, forcing Congress to cite her for contempt. The IRS and the Obama administration refused to release key information during the investigations.

Instead of being held accountable, Lois Lerner, who has already been on paid leave for years, will be allowed to retire with full benefits even though a review board recommended her firing.

Let this serve as a reminder to other public officials: If you are a liberal and abuse your position and refuse to answer questions about it, you will retire early and comfortably.

“By failing to indict Lois Lerner, the Obama Justice Department – or, should we say, the Obama Injustice Department – is making a mockery of this ‘investigation,’ when countless American citizens, by Ms. Lerner’s own admission, were persecuted by the Internal Revenue Service. This is a woman, after all, who looked into the camera at a national television audience and directly at a congressional committee and refused to answer their questions for fear of incriminating herself.

“This is just the latest evidence that the Justice Department, whether under Eric Holder or Loretta Lynch, has simply become the political hatchet-men for President Obama and his cronies throughout the Administration.

“Clearly, we cannot rely on the Department of Justice to provide justice.” ~ Tea Party Patriots CEO and co-founder Jenny Beth Martin

About avirginiapatriot1776

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. — Ronald Reagan
