While lawmakers were investigating whether Hillary Clinton sent or received Top Secret emails on her insecure homemade server, they found that the emails on Hillary Clinton’s “home-brew” email server were so sensitive that senior lawmakers with the highest levels of security clearance were not allowed to even look at them without signing additional nondisclosure agreements before viewing them.
Clinton told NPR that it was just “another leak” meant to hurt her campaign.
“Nothing that this says changes the fact that I never sent or received material marked classified,” Clinton said.
But by their very nature, classified email systems require the writer to “mark” the material in the email as classified or not. Regular home email systems do not have such a marking system. The content of those emails contained classified info but they were not “marked classified” because the home server/system/software didn’t allow it. You only have options such as “URGENT”.
What a joke. I think we all know the answer to the question. Is there really any reason to keep up the make believe “investigation”?
