ISIS is not the only Muslim terrorist organization

I saw this on a friend’s Facebook page yesterday:

UntitledThis is completely inaccurate.

ISIS, or Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, is just one of literally hundreds of Islamic terrorist groups.  ISIS was not even created until 12/17/2004 according to the US Bureau of Counterterrorism. This was 3 years after the 9/11 attacks by the Islamic terrorist group,  al-Qaeda.

And what about, Hizballah, HAMAS, Palestine Liberation Front, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, al-Qa’ida and all of the other Islamic terrorist organizations?

There are too many to name here are some of the most dangerous Islamic terrorist organizations according the US Bureau of Counterterrorism:

Abu Nidal Organization

Abu Sayyaf Group

Gama’a al-Islamiyya Islamic Group

The Muslim Brotherhood

Harakat ul-Mujahidin

Palestine Liberation Front

Palestinian Islamic Jihad

Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine

PFLP-General Command

Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan

Jaish-e-Mohammed (Army of the Prophet Mohammed)

Ansar al-Islam

Islamic Jihad Union (IJU)

Army of Islam (AOI)

Even more troubling, is the fact that nearly a quarter of the Muslims polled who are living in the US believed that it is legitimate to use violence to punish those who oppose Islam (infidels).

And nearly one-fifth of Muslim respondents said that the use of violence in the United States is justified in order to make shariah the law of the land in this country.

You can stick your head in the sand if you want, but this is reality, unfortunately:

400 million.  That is a lot of people who wish harm on non-Muslims in the United States.  The entire population of the US is only 330 million.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. — Ronald Reagan
