Hillary “Can’t Recall” Calling For A Drone Strike On Julian Assange

Does she look like she’s joking?

During a brief press conference at the Zembo Shrine in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Hillary Clinton fielded a question about whether she had spoken about assassinating WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

The question stems from a True Pundit article published on Oct. 2 which cites State Department sources who claim Hillary openly said, “Can’t we just drone this guy?” when speaking about Assange. WikiLeaks would highlight the article in a tweet on Oct. 3.

Under Intense Pressure to Silence Wikileaks, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Proposed Drone Strike on Julian Assange

Assange this week spoke of releasing new hacked materials relating to Hillary Clinton at the WikiLeaks tenth anniversary conference. The leaker disappointed many when he released none of that information during his appearance due to security concerns.

“I don’t know anything about what he’s talking about,” Clinton said when asked about Assange’s recent statements.

“And I don’t recall any joke,” Clinton said about her reported question about handling Assange. “It would have been a joke if it had been said but I don’t recall.”

The True Pundit piece which Hillary responded to claims that Hillary’s question about drone striking Assange came as the State Department was getting pressure from President Obama and his White House inner circle, as well as heads of state internationally, to try and cut off Assange’s delivery of the CableGate leaks.

True Pundit reported:

The statement drew laughter from the room which quickly died off when the Secretary kept talking in a terse manner, sources said. Clinton said Assange, after all, was a relatively soft target, “walking around” freely and thumbing his nose without any fear of reprisals from the United States.

CableGate was a dump of 250,000 diplomatic cables from U.S. embassies to countries around the world. Among the revelations produced by the cables were information about secret U.S. bombing of Yemen and also Hillary’s attempts to snoop on leadership at the United Nations.

Hillary seems to be very forgetful these days.

The former Secretary of State repeatedly could not “recall” the answers to 27 different questions from the FBI about her private email server and communications habits when interviewed in July. She also told the FBI that she did not “remember” details of her emailing and classification habits at least 12 times.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. — Ronald Reagan
