James Comey is a crybaby plain and simple

In his opening statement this morning, fired FBI Director James Comey skipped the pleasantries and got straight to the point when he accused the Trump administration of telling “lies, plain and simple.”

“And although the law required no reason at all to fire and FBI Director, the administration then chose to defame me, and more importantly the FBI, by saying that the organization was in disarray, that it was poorly run.”

“Those were lies, plain and simple.”

Anyone care to guess how many times this sound bite will be replayed throughout the day on the Liberal News Networks?

So what did Trump lie about?

About Russia, about the investigation?

No, James Comey’s feeling got hurt. So he is making a federal case out of it, proving exactly why he should have been fired.

The question I have after watching Comey is how did this idiot last so long.

I hope Americans are smart enough to know the difference between a lie and an opinion. This is NOT a lie.  It is an opinion or an evaluation of the situation.

How can such a statement be evaluated as true or false? Given the leaks, the shoddy investigation of the DNC server hack that relied completely on a third party contractor handpicked by the DNC, The statements made by other FBI agents on low morale in the department, I’d say it was a very fair statement by Trump.

With all of the important issues we have in this country, we are spending weeks and weeks on what amounts to the feelings of James Comey.

I hope we have once again reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. There’s a clear cause and effect here that is as neat and predictable as a law of physics: as government expands, liberty contracts. — Ronald Reagan
